The Universal File Loader package loads "universal" files into Igor.

The "universal" file format was created by Structural Dynamics Research Corporation in the 1960's and has been extended many times. It is used by the experimental dynamics (vibration and acoustic) community.

Initially only the version 58 universal file format is supported. The version 58 "Unversal file" format is described here.

This code does not load version 58b which is a mix of ASCII and binary or any format other than version 58.

Initially all documentation is in the procedure file that constitutes the package.
