I just stumbled upon the standard file loader line of projects. Ambitious!
You say in the "working proposal" that you will use IgorExchange exclusively for feedback, but I can't figure out where to post...
Is there a related forum topic or discussion forum on IgorExchange? Anyway, your SFL work seems to be a tremendous effort that merits a better reception/participation. Has anyone else contributed yet? I would be willing to try to rewrite my own file loaders according to your guidelines, but at the moment I am a bit overwhelmed. Thus I have a feature request: Could you provide a demo experiment with some demo data, so that I can "quickly" evaluate whether your SFL package is useful for my own ends? I have a feeling that this might promote reception by other users as well.

I am starting a revision of the structure and functions to fit with Igor 6.10. As part of this revision, rather than providing demo data, I believe a well commented "template" loader would be more appropriate. As for a demo experiment, the udSFL Panel is in itself a demo experiment, and the SpXZeigR package also uses this particular structure and functions.
Keep an eye on the Igor mailing list and/or here for notice of the posting of a Development/Snapshot version of the udFL Standard Structure package specifically for Igor 6.10. Everything else springs then from it (especially this large compilation of all loaders).
Thanks for the interest!
