Igor 6 Multi-peak fitting 2 package crash when start new fit in Windows 10 build 14951

Hi,

I am currently using Igor 6.38b01 on Windows 10 build 14951. Everything works fine except it crashes when clicking "Continue" in the "Start Multi-peak Fit" dialog of the Multi-peak fitting 2 package.

The problem can be reproduced by loading the multi-peak fitting 2 package, creating any 2 waves with equal length (Ex. wave 0 is {0, 1} and wave 1 is {1, 2}). Then select the two waves as X waves and Y wave in the start multi-peak fit dialog, select use new graph and start fresh. Then click continue. Igor will crash and a Windows dialog appears saying "Igor Pro 6.38B01 has stopped working".

The problem occurs on Igor 6.37 and 6.38b01 on Windows 10 machine with build number newer than 14393. It does not occur in Igor 7. I tried reinstalling Igor and reinstalling Windows, but neither of them worked.

Please tell me if other information is needed. Thank you for the help!

The recommended solution is to use Igor Pro 7 if possible.

The solution in the referenced post works! Either turn off the "Let Windows manage my default printer" or updating Igor to latest nightly build would work. Thank you!
