It'd sure help the debugging process if it were possible for free waves (not just global waves) to be shown in the upper-right display panel of the debugger.

On my MacBook Pro also free waves show up in the debugger, at least if I choose "WAVEs and STRUCTs" with the option "Show wave in table". "Show wave in graph" doesn't seem to work.

You are right. On Vista, as on your Mac, the table view works but the graph view doesn't.

The next revision of Igor will show free waves in the debugger's graph and table.
It's just something that got overlooked.
