Providing information about a project
When editing the information about a project, you can put as much or as little information in the "Body" field as you would like. We recommend that you try to provide a short yet thorough explanation of what your project does, when it is needed, what it requires (such as other IgorExchange projects or XOPs), and how to use it. You don't need to go into great depth about any of these topics, but most users will only look at the name and description of your project when deciding if it will be useful.
If you would like, you can include one or more images with the description of your project. We recommend that you attach a small screen shot for any project that creates its own window or control panel, so that users can get a quick idea of what your project does and how it looks. Instructions for attaching images to the project description can be found on the Creating a project page.
