Equation Visualization

It would be nice to have some sort of way to visually look at your equations. Currently, I cut and paste from Igor to other programs so I can view the equations, but sometimes have to reformat to meet syntax in other programs (which delays identification of typos). Apologies if something like this exists, I just haven't seen it.
Could you provide some sreenshots? I'm not sure what the other programs can do better in visualizing equations.
