Using a igor project for publishable data analysis?

Hi all,
Quick question, if I want to use a project from this site (specifically the spline baseline fitting program) how do I properly acknowledge it? Well I guess I should ask if I can actually use it for publishable data analysis first. If the answer to that is yes, then how do I acknowledge it? Odd question, I know, but an important one I believe.

Thanks!
Perhaps you are referring to http://www.igorexchange.com/project/Baselines?

In general, any code prepared by WaveMetrics can be used freely. But that project was prepared by a customer. The fact that he posted it here on IgorExchange indicates that he intends it to be used freely.

But you are also correct that it would be polite to give credit. Possibly put a question on the project itself to ask the creator of the package how he would like to be acknowledged. Perhaps a mention in your Acknowlegements section would be adequate; these days web resources are so prevalent that most publishers have standards for citations using URLs. Ask the publisher about their standard.
