Can Igor create and export an animated file?

Hi,

Can I append several waves (same X, Y axises) to make an animated file, and have it exported (as .gif)?

I'm not sure about gif but you can create a video using NewMovie and friends.

Newmovie seems a bit complicated for me to start with. I was looking at an example [Examples:Movies & Audio: FM Modulation movie], but sadly I don't know how to make one by myself. I am not a programer.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. I will play around and probably seek for other solutions if fail.
